Walk 20 metres to the river or get on your bikes and explore the area. Lake Vyrnwy (6 miles) is a great place for walking or cycling around the lake, taking in the scenery and wildlife spotting. Visit Llanrhaeadr waterfall (10 miles), one of the seven wonders of Wales, falling in three stages over a 73-metre cliff. The National Trust’s Chirk Castle (15 miles) is well worth a visit. Discover the pretty market towns of Welshpool (10 miles) with its steam railway, and Oswestry (11 miles), both offering a good selection of bars, shops and restaurants to enjoy.

This is an idyllic location to relax and unwind or get active exploring the area. Walk into this stylish pod and find it well equipped with all your creature comforts. Relax on the sofa, watch a film on the Smart TV, or listen to music and plan your holiday activities. If you decide to eat in, cooking with local produce purchased on your travels, the kitchen area is a lovely space to rustle up a meal. When ready, the dining table is the perfect setting for a romantic meal together, with the French doors opening onto the paved patio with views towards the river.
