This lovely, detached, stone-built cottage stands on the owner's 5-acre smallholding, perched on the slopes of the beautiful Tanat Valley, close to the Berwyn Mountain Range. Just a few miles away is the quaint village of Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant, home to the wonderful Pistyll Rhaeadr, Wales's highest waterfall which cascades down over 240 feet. This charming Wales cottage offers magnificent hill and mountain views, not to mention wonderfully well-equipped and cosy accommodation with a welcoming cottage atmosphere throughout, including an impressive inglenook fireplace with original old bread oven, exposed beams and some exposed stone walls and flagged floors. The location of this Wales cottage is a mecca for walkers of all abilities, with wonderful scenic trails and bridleways from the doorstep, as well as the Berwyn Mountains, Lake Vyrnwy and Bala all a short drive away. Further afield, but still within easy reach from this Wales cottage, are Snowdonia, Shropshire, Powis Castle and even the historic city of Chester. This delightful Wales cottage is perfect for a romantic holiday, walking break or simply a chance to unwind in a rural location surrounded by stunning countryside.
Pedairffordd is a rural hamlet situated within the hills of the Tanat Valley and is overlooked by the Berwyn Mountain Range. The village of Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant is three miles away and boasts Pistyll Rhaeadr, a 240 foot high waterfall, two general stores, a newsagents, a post office, a butchers, two pubs and two cafes. Within driving distance are Lake Vyrney and Lake Bala, Powis Castle and Gardens, Shresbury, Chester and the Snowdonia National Park.
