It is set on a working farm in the heart of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons National Park), surrounded by phenomenal countryside views.

Perfect for an escape with friends or family, this quirky Libanus home is the ultimate choice for anyone seeking a scenic escape to Wales.

Enter through the traditional barn door, stooping as you step in, to find a neat kitchen/diner hosting all the essentials you could need for a week-long stay; prepare a tasty breakfast with the electric hob and microwave to be enjoyed at the breakfast bar or table, or choose to dine alfresco with some fresh produce from one of the local shops.

Leaving the kitchen, you will find two steep sets of stairs; one leading up to a 4' double with an en-suite shower room and the other set leading to the second double bedroom, also with an en-suite shower room, each room offering a homely interior and tremendous views to wake up to.

Also on the first floor is a small living/dining room where you can enjoy relaxing with your loved ones when you're not out exploring the excitement of the local area.

There is also a lockable boot room, which is suitable for bike storage, with a clothes rail and recycling facilities

Spend your mornings sitting out admiring your stunning surroundings, where, depending on the time of year, you may see cattle and sheep on the working farm.

Indulge in a game of tennis on the court directly outside Ty Hir or, take a stroll out to explore your surroundings up close, with a plethora of walking and cycling routes on your doorstep, including along the Usk Reservoir, the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal, to the Ystradfellte Waterfalls and hiking up Pen y Fan.,

Those seeking a more leisurely day out should be sure to explore the nearby market town of Brecon, where you will find all you could need for a self-catered stay, including welcoming pubs, shops, cafés, eateries and a regular livestock market. The closest village, Sennybridge, also has pubs, a petrol station/shop and a regular stock market.

There are plenty of opportunities for birdwatching and horse riding in the local area too for those looking to get close to nature, or enjoy a day out with a difference with a trip to the award-winning show caves at Dan-yr-Ogof, with a Dinosaur Park hosting 220 life-sized dinosaur models!

If you fancy yourself an amateur astronomer the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park has some of the highest quality dark skies in the whole of the UK, as it is one of only 18 designated International Dark Sky Reserves in the world. The farm is a mile from its nearest neighbours in any direction, and so the skies are particularly spectacular!

The interesting market town of Sennybridge is situated where the River Senni flows into the River Usk, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. It is home to cosy pubs, great places to eat, a variety of shops and a regular livestock market. Sennybridge is a perfect location for horse riding, bird watching, and walking in the Brecon Beacons National Park. With Brecon and Llandovery nearby, plus the Porth-yr-Ogof Caves, the award-winning show caves at Dan-yr-Ogof, pony trekking and the waterfall country at Ystradfellte renowned for the many scenic walks beside the waterfalls, this is a perfect spot to enjoy one of the most beautiful parts of Wales.
