Offering families, couples, and friends alike a peaceful break in the countryside, this dog-friendly cottage has been thoughtfully appointed for guests to make themselves right at home. You'll find off-road parking for four cars when you arrive, along with a front patio with outdoor seating to relax and take in the rolling hills. Inside, there is a fully equipped, country-style kitchen with a contemporary twist, having everything you need to prepare hot meals for your loved ones, along with an extendable dining table seating six. Dine here whilst watching the wall-mounted TV or venture outside to the front patio with a charcoal barbecue and furniture; why not dine al fresco and make the most of your countryside surroundings? As the sun sets, Bronhaul is in a dark skies area, perfect for stargazing and savouring a cold glass of wine after the day's adventures. Alternatively, retreat to the warmth of the woodburning stove in the spacious sitting with a plush corner sofa, armchairs, TV, and each room has a Bluetooth speaker so you can listen to your favourite playlist. Throughout the cottage, you'll find quirky decor, house plants, and plenty of seating areas tucked away to quietly read a book. The ground floor also has a utility with a washing machine and tumble dryer to keep your walking gear fresh, along with a cloakroom, whilst upstairs you'll find a contemporary family bathroom complete with a bath, walk-in shower, and heated towel rail. All three bedrooms have been furnished with great attention to detail, each with a TV, including two doubles and a single which also hosts a desk with coffee machine should you need a quiet workspace. When it's time to explore, Bronhaul offers a haven for walkers with plenty of footpaths from your doorstep with more spectacular views, whilst the village of Guilsfield is a short drive away for convenience stores, The Oak for Indian cuisine and the Kings Head pub for a traditional meal. There is also The Derwen, an independent garden centre with a farm shop to stock up on fresh produce. Jump in the car to explore your surroundings; for a day of fun there is quad trekking around 11 miles away or if that's not for you, tryout horse riding just 9 miles away. For more attractions, visit the historic market town of Welshpool where you can at the likes of Fabrizio’s for Italian and the Raven Inn, discover local history at The Wharf Powysland Museum and Welshpool Library, and visit National Trust Powis Castle and Garden with ornate interiors. Welshpool is also home to a vintage tearoom, The Bay Tree, as well as a great selection of eateries for Indian food. A great day out for the whole family, Llanwddyn rests on the scenic Lake Vyrnwy for canoeing, kayaking, sailing or walking the Giants of Vyrnwy Trail, or perhaps you're looking to explore Snowdonia National Park? Welshpool is just three miles away, nestled in the picturesque Severn Valley near the border between Wales and England. Powis Castle, Dingle Gardens, the Llanfair Light Railway, the Montgomery Canal, and National walking trails and Offa's Dyke are must-sees.
