Tucked away on a glamping site, this compact but practical property is well equipped for a cosy break. Leading up three wooden steps, you will find the open-plan living space which has underfloor heating throughout, as well as a warming wood burner. To one end is a kitchenette with everything you need to whip up quick and easy meals, and adjacent is a two-seater dining table. At the other end of the hut is a super cosy king-size bed which has a Smart TV mounted on the wall. Completing the hut is a little shower room with a WC. Outside is a private patio area with a backdrop of rolling fields and spectacular countryside views. Here, you will find some seating for dining alfresco and a private hot tub.
This peaceful spot is great for heading off on foot or bike and exploring the Mid Wales countryside. Spot wildlife at the superb Gilfach Nature Reserve (2 miles), once a hill farm and now a fascinating reserve with a mix of heathland, woodland and meadows. Further exploration can be had at Elan Valley (6 miles), a landscape of dams and reservoirs in the Cambrian Mountains. Rhayader (6 miles) is the nearest town, where you will find an eclectic mix of shops and plenty of places to eat.
