A 19th century, stone-built, end-terrace barn conversion, situated next-door-but-one to the quiet village pub, in the centre of the small village of Castle Caereinion in the beautiful Montgomeryshire countryside. This welcoming Welshpool cottage provides well-equipped open plan accommodation, perfect for a quiet retreat for two or a cosy family base. This peaceful village is surrounded by scenic countryside, ideal for long walks and cycle rides, and is only 4 miles from Welshpool, a pleasant market town boasting one of the National Trust's gems, Powis Castle and Garden. Enjoy a trip on the Welshpool and Llanfair steam railway (there is a station in the village) or discover beautiful lakes Vyrnwy and Bala, the Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall, one of the seven wonders of Wales, or trips into beautiful Shropshire. At the end of the day relax in this cosy Welshpool cottage after a quiet drink in the village pub.
