Lovely holiday cottage, located in an area of outstanding beauty. There's plenty to see in the local area and is a great central point for exploring Wales. The views from the hot tub were amazing and the complimentary cake was a welcome suprise. I can't recommend it enough, and I am looking forward to coming again!

Our second stay at y dderwen and we had a great time... Mr and Mrs Evans were lovely and can't do enough for you, y dderwen is a good location and we went to Chester, Shrewsbury, welshpool, Barmouth and Llangollen and after a day out a nice soak in the hot tub was perfect with great views over the valley...we enjoyed watching the lambs and we definitely be back in the future....a big shout out for Leri who is a younger lady who likes to bake who's cakes are delicious especially the Guinness cake and you can find her phone number in the info book...we brought home cakes as presents as well and are beautifully packed and were delivered to the premises on our last day.... All in all a great holiday.... We forgot to pack our binoculars so if you like birds don't forget yours
