We just returned from a magical week at Rhydlanfair Cottage and cannot recommend it enough! The property was absolutely spotless upon arrival and perfectly matched the listing—even better, in fact! The thoughtful touches, like the welcome biscuits and milk made us feel right at home immediately. The location is wonderful —tucked away for peace and quiet but only a 5 minute drive into the village centre for dinner. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook family meals if you decide to eat at home. The hosts, Sarah and Tom, were very welcoming and gave us a great recommendation for their farm walking trail, which we all loved, especially the little map they provide to go with it. We loved waking up to the sounds of the countryside and enjoyed our cups of tea looking out onto the fields every morning.*Worth noting, there is no Internet signal in the twin bedroom, only the double rooma nd downstairs. That's the only thing we felt we would have preferred to know beforehand.

Lovely holiday in a beautiful part of the country. Hosts were very friendly despite working a busy farm. Both my wife and I thought the house was actually a lot better than the photos made it look, which was a nice surprise. Not much in the way of supermarkets nearby. Local, small shops for essentials but I'd recommend taking most food with you.Walks nearby are stunning.Log burner was a real treat and we were provided with a lot of wood.Would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing getaway.
