Parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. A unique, romantic, hideaway awaits you in this absolutely exceptional property. Formerly St John the Baptist Church and now lovingly converted into an absolutely outstanding holiday home for you to enjoy. Light floods in through the original tall windows showing the stunning interior to its best advantage. A spiral staircase leads you from the lounge to the mezzanine level where the magic continues with a four poster suite which is light and spacious. The lounge has original high ceilings and benefits from a wood burning stove, a large television and stylish, comfortable seating. Each room will endear you with original features unique to the property’s origins. Outside, the secluded garden including a stream, wraps gently around the property. There is a swinging garden seat on which to sit back and enjoy the peaceful ambience. There is a pub in which you may enjoy a meal within walking distance, or a mile away is the village of Capel Curig which boasts three pubs, a well stocked shop and is home to the Plas y Brenin National Mountain Centre.

The chapel has been restored in the most beautiful way creating a truest delightful space to hang out in. Furnishings are comfortable and bathrooms are modern with plenty of hot water available. The chapel was immaculately clean and property and gardens well maintained. The location is perfect for all levels of walking and fabulous tea room ‘The Ugly House’ is nearby for post walk treats. I would recommend and hope to return.

We always look for an interesting looking cottage , and this conversion church was right up there. Fantastic location and the wow factor once we unlocked the massive church door. Everything that was needed for the week was present, cooking and relaxing with a good book after a nice long walk in the Snowdon Park. Not the cleanest property we have stayed at and a few things did disappoint. Uncomfortable bed , and badly rotten garden swing bench. Also not being able to park at the property even for unloading the car . Difficult to turn the car around on the very narrow lane too . Having said that, we would definitely return in the future as staying in a lovely church in snowdonia is fantastic! .

Unser 2. Aufenthalt nach 6 Jahren. Die Küche nebst Utensilien waren fettig und das Geschirr unvollständig. Für 2 Wochen Aufenthalt nur je ein Handtuch pro Person und im Badezimmer funktioniert der Ventilator nicht. Vor 6 Jahren war hier noch alles perfekt Nach wie vor ein schönes Anwesen und eine tolle Gegend zum Wandern.
