Lovely view and only a minutes walk from the only shop and pub in the village. We did have problems getting the portable electric heaters to work but it wasnât an issue as we used the oil heater when required . The upstairs smoke alarm just kept turning on all the time in the end for no reason so we had to disconnect , the battery I assume . These things are important but minor issues and didnât affect our stay , we will be back again

.. had a pleasant relax of a week ... As always when on holiday, used the bin facilities; had to make 'other' arrangaments for the food waste though, as the food wasten bin itself was already full, that is, hadn't been emptied from previous use. Hey ho! The only other real 'down' was both the back and front doors ... one had dropped (back) the front door neede either pushing or pulling. No trouble at all, I'd imagine, for a younger bloke, but I'm almost a pensioner, with very arthritic hands. Ouch. Anyway, cheers for the use of Preswylfa. Penmachno village has always been close to my heart. I enjoyed being back there again. Hwyl hwyl.
