We were very disappointed with the property, the web site claims this to be a ⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ property but in our experience it’s not!We have the kitchen, lounge and conservatory/ dining area to be tired, dirty and in need of a some TLC.The kitchen had not been cleaned and in our opinion it hadn’t had a deep clean for some time. Crumbs all over the work surface, water marks on the the work top appliances, hairs and crumbs in the fridge and freezer compartments, the one fridge door didn’t shut and the units slid on the floor when opening. In side of the cupboards were grubby and stained, the microwave contained food debris, the dish washer wasn’t fixed and fell out of the unit when opened and the plinth under the cooker had fallen off. There were clumps of dog hair around the property and matted in the rug. We tried vacuuming but the vacuum was so clogged with hair the brush didn’t spin and ask such didn’t ****. How the property was cleaned with this is a mystery. Door handles were lose, all the windows were grubby with dead insects and flies on culls, these had obviously been there a while which suggests the property hadn’t been cleaned sufficiently. The furniture in the conservatory was falling apart, some of the slabs in the garden were lose and caused a trip hazard. Some of the garden furniture was broke causing one of us to fall when resting back. The BBQ was dangerous with broken legs. There were holes and missing trim throughout the down stairs where fittings had been moved and changed and old holes not filled and conservatory extended (we presume).Bathrooms hadn’t been cleaned very well, that said the up stairs and down stairs bedroom was very comfortable and we purchased the same mattress when returning home.We raised this with the owner and they offered to re clean but in all fairness it would have taken them hours and this would have been highly inconvenient, get it right first time. There was a washing machine and freezer in the garage however it was littered with old furniture and things making it dangerous to access. This property was in need of a deep clean and tidy up, something the owners living next door could have easily have done or noticed and addressed. They were very dismissive and relied on past reviews as their argument. All I can say is that the standards of past guests must be very low as we would not return to this property. This property is not worthy of 5 stars and certainly not worth the money being charged. It could be very nice as the location is perfect. Please think twice before booking
