Train buffs can choose from two scenic railways to revel through the beautiful countryside - Fairbourne (15 miles) and Talyllyn Railway - Tywyn Wharf Railway Station (4 miles). Hikers should head into the National Park and walk to Dolgoch Waterfall (4 miles) or explore Tan y Coed Park (14.5 miles). To experience the local history and culture, head to Corris Mine Explorers (16.5 miles) and learn about the local crafts before taking an excursion into an underground mine.
