Fabulous place to stay. Large property with gated off entrance so perfect for dogs. We were there during heatwave so got a little hot at times but the velux windows were a big help. Washing up liquid/teatowels provided. There is a small shop on site but didn’t actually use it. There is a small shop in Fairbourne also but I’d definitely take provisions with you. 30 min walk/5 min drive to the beach. Highly recommend & will use again.

You need a car to reach most places and especially if the weather is poor. There are a couple of walks, the one we did took us up on the ridge and the view was magnificent. Fairbourne is only a five minute drive away, here you can walk on the beach or through the sand dunes to the ferry which takes you across to Barmouth. The apartment we stayed in could do with a cheese grater and some tea plates but thats all I would ask for. The bedrooms, bathroom, living room and kitchen were all lovely and well supplied.

Upon arriving it felt like home from home. Lovely area, we stayed in the upper cottage and it had a private area, which was lovely. Huge plus was that we had a sea view. The cottage itself was lovely, clean and bright. Very spacious. Would we stay again? Yes. Would we recommend? Yes.
