Bala 2 miles. Encompassed by the stunning countryside of Snowdonia National Park in Rhyd-uchaf near Bala, Gwynedd is this stone-built barn conversion, The Aran. Ideal for a family or group of four, this wonderful abode enjoys a mixture of the old and new interiors, with contemporary furnishing complimenting original features throughout, along with magnificent views of the rural vista. After parking in one of the off-road spaces, make your way through the sunny shared courtyard nestled at the foot of this lovely dwelling before making your way inside to be dazzled by the open-plan living space, where you can find a fabulous kitchen boasting a vaulted ceiling, grey fittings with wooden worktops and hosting an array of integrated appliances. After the designated chef has fixed up a delectable meal, enjoy dinner at the close-by dining table as you catch up with your loved ones about your countryside ramblings. End the day by enjoying some quality time with your family in the sitting area, where you can curl up on the leather sofas and start a movie marathon on the TV. When night falls, move across the ground floor to find a king-size bedroom also showcasing a vaulted ceiling with an A-frame feature, and enjoying access to an en-suite shower room. Progress upstairs to find another king-size bedroom that savours views over the surrounding mountains, features stylish, grey accents, whilst enjoying access to a contemporary en-suite shower room; both shower rooms contain spacious walk-in cubicles and heated towel rails, so you can freshen up with ease. The town backs onto the famed Llyn Tegid, the national forest of Aberhirnant and Bala Golf Club, making for a delightful holiday destination. Visitors can also enjoy strolling along the River Dee, before stopping in one of the town's many eateries lining its high street, and wandering to the close-by Afon Tryweryn and National White Water Centre for even more outdoors fun.
