There is a long lane leading to the property which is quite narrow in places. All drivers should take care, particularly owners of wide vehicles such as 4 wheel drives. The lane is very narrow, very wide vehicles over 1.85 metres wide such as large 4 wheel drives may have difficulty getting through. Bring your smallest vehicle to ensure a speedy access. The garden has dry stone walls, these could be dangerous if climbed on.

There are low banisters at the property.

There are drops in the garden.

Superb property, inside and out. The infamous driveway wasn't really an issue - yes its a bit tight at times and there are multiple gates but we got through fine in a Skoda Koroq (and excellent instructions in advance from the owner). Well worth it when you do! Amazing grounds to explore, lots of trails from the garden gate and a lovely wander down to Barmouth in 10 mins. Steps at the bottom are steep so require a certain level of fitness but my 10 year old enjoyed the challenge coming back up! Enjoyed a few pints at the Last Inn (closest pub), and lovely food at The Bank and Captains Table. Make sure to book ahead in school hols/ bank hols. Fantastic views from the balcony onto the estuary and bridge. Perfect spot.

Lovely cottage, great location (the drive up the narrow track gets easier with time!). Kitchen very clean and well equipped. Stunning views from the conservatory watching the tide come in and out. A few spiders and cobwebs, to be expected in an old building, but well and tastefully decorated. We had a lovely week here and would certainly consider again.

We had a truly wonderful time at Cae-fadog Fach. The view is amazing, beds very comfortable and showers very powerful. We would love to return one day.
