At the heart of the cottage is the open-plan first-floor living space, thoughtfully designed to make the most of the stunning views. The living area is cosy and inviting, centred around a warming log burner, while kitchen and large dining area provide a sociable space for family meals and relaxed evenings. Whether you’re gathered around the fire or enjoying breakfast with panoramic views, this space is made for memorable moments.
Step outside into the extensive garden, and you’ll discover a haven for both relaxation and fun. Unwind in the hot tub, a covered area with comfy seating so you can enjoy the scenery no matter the weather, let the kids bounce on the Olympic-sized sunken trampoline, or sr train ride away. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy hikinay hello to the resident ducks, chickens, and even a pony, there’s also a stream that gently winds through the grounds. At the bottom of the garden, the Welsh Highland Railway adds a magical touch, with occasional steam trains passing by, pure delight for children and train enthusiasts alike.
The location is perfect for exploring Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, with Yr Wyddfa (Mount Snowdon) just a short drive or train ride away. Where to start…. North wales is one of our favourite places of all time and we visit frequently, we have stayed all over North wales in some lovely places but I must say nothing has compared to the place we have just stayed Plas Isaf. Not only was it spotlessly clean, you can see the love and care that has been put into this home to welcome guests, the children in our party had unlimited things to do thanks to the amazing hosts Alison and Miles who insured that our whole party took away special memories. Waking up every morning to the most incredible views, playing fetch with the dogs and feeding the ducks whilst hearing the shrieks of laughter from the kids on the trampoline to then having a relaxing soak in the hot tub… just incredible!!!! We can not wait to come back.

We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful mountain cottage! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and at home.The mountain views were absolutely breathtaking — waking up to that scenery each morning was pure magic. The cottage itself was cozy, spotless, and thoughtfully set up with everything you could possibly need. We especially loved the fireplace for those relaxing evenings, the hot tub and the amazing sound system that made our nights even more special.Every detail has clearly been considered to create the perfect getaway.And we can’t say enough about Alison and Miles — truly the most amazing and friendly hosts ever. They made everything seamless and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay.If you’re looking for a peaceful, friendly mountain escape, this is the place. We already can’t wait to come back!

What an absolutely fantastic cottage. The host's were welcoming and so helpful. The cottage has lots of character and my kids loved the rooms. Our children loved feeding the animals and the giant trampoline. We were blessed by lots of snow which made it extra special. We all loved having snowball fights then warming up in the hot tub. We can't wait to come back later on in the year.
