An immaculately-presented, detached holiday cottage, in an elevated position offering stunning views of the Cader Idris mountain range, on the edge of the market town of Dolgellau. Luxuriously appointed throughout, providing light and airy, contemporary accommodation, this Dolgellau cottage is perfect for families and friends or a couple wanting a romantic retreat. There are three quality bedrooms, a welcoming sitting room and luxury kitchen including comfy seating and TV. Outside this delightful Dolgellau holiday cottage there are two sitting areas, perfect for dining alfresco while enjoying the wonderful mountain view. Dolgellau's pretty town centre is only a five minute walk from this Dolgellau cottage, offering a variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, and is a perfect base from which to explore the beautiful National Park and stunning coastline.
This Dolgellau cottage is also close to a golf course and three miles from the renowned mountain bike centre at Coed-y-Brenin. Only eight miles away are the beautiful sandy beaches of Barmouth and Fairbourne, as well as Harlech Castle, a World Heritage Site. This is a lovely Dolgellau cottage, ideal for a luxury holiday at any time of the year.
Located in the heart of southern Snowdonia, between the imposing Cader Idris mountain range and the sea, is the small market town of Dolgellau. This fabulous holiday base is a prefect spot from which to combine the many outdoor pursuits on offer in Snowdonia with the soft sandy beaches of Barmouth, Fairbourne and Aberdovey. With a good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat the town is well placed for access to other nearby coastal resorts. This is a quiet, peaceful location, ideal for outdoor activities amongst the superb scenery, mountains, forests, waterfalls, castles and beaches.

Positives; a well equipped house, clean, well positioned, warm, comfortable, nice neighbours, a stunning view, with easy walks into town, beautiful walks out of town. The kitchen/living area is lovely.Lots of bedrooms and loos. Decent bed, albeit sharp IKEA edges. Good value, I think. Negatives; poorly maintained UPVC window frames, some windows wonât open or close (this has been the case for years). Ground floor sofa is incredibly low, difficult to get up from. The short drive up to the house is pretty steep and the access to the drive is tight. The garden is also quite steep but perfectly safe (this is mountain country). For us the positives make this the best house to rent. Hence our re-booking. We love Dolgellau and the house is fine, warm and comfortable.

The house has nice views from the spacious rooms. The kitchen is nice and fully equipped. Lots of sun in the garden that is situated against a hill. Well located and a bit hidden behind another house. You can walk to Dolgellau centre within 10 minutes and there are a lot of great hikes and walks within 15 minutes by car . Very friendly host!
