Kick off your boots in the spacious hallway, admiring the characterful exposed oak beams, before stepping down into the traditionally-styled sitting room, where you can begin your retreat relaxing with your loved ones discussing a fun-filled itinerary for your stay, the woodburning stove bringing a welcome warmth to the room as well as boasting a dual-aspect through to the formal dining room where you can enjoy a home-made meal when you're not out sampling the delicious eateries of Dolgellau. Situated just outside Dolgellau in the Snowdonia National Park, this boutique cottage is an ideal base from which to explore all the delights the Park has to offer. Follow the wonderful Torrent Walk resting just a stone's throw away, where you can roam amongst the river and enjoy a peaceful picnic, or take a trip into the local town, accessed by either a steady stroll or a short car journey to be met by an array of eateries to take your pick from including pubs, cafés and restaurants, as well as a scatter of convenience stores and two bakeries to pick up some fresh ingredients for your self-catered cooking. Dolgellau is an extremely scenic holiday base at any time of the year, sitting between the imposing Cader Idris mountain range and the sea, it offers easy access to an array of wonders, as well as the town itself boasting over 200 listed buildings to observe, allegedly the highest concentration in the whole of Wales! Resting between the Cader Idris mountain range and the sea, it makes an extremely scenic holiday base at any time of the year. The two is host to a range of shops, pubs, restaurants, cafés, bakeries and much more, while its 200 listed buildings make it a particular marvel. Visit the sandy beaches of Barmouth, Fairbourne and Aberdovey, or roam the many wonders of the National Park for an experience like no other.
