Just a short drive away from a sandy beach, this pet-friendly bungalow is ideal for a family of six. Be greeted by off-road parking before making your way up the wheelchair-friendly ramp to discover your delightful dwelling.
Enter into the hallway, here you can kick off your shoes and turn left into the contemporary kitchen, hosting an electric oven and induction hob to rustle up tasty dishes. Moving through the home, discover the sitting room and unwind on the sofa with a cup of tea as the TV does the entertaining for you. Enjoy meals together in the bright and airy conservatory; afterwards throw a blanket down in the rear garden to escape into a compelling book. After a day exploring the Welsh coast, indulge in a rinse in the wheel in shower room, which offers a seat and handrail, then you can climb into fresh pyjamas. When sleep calls, choose between three well-presented bedrooms, including a super-king-size which has an adjustable profiling bed from Theraposture with orthopaedic mattresses, detachable cot sides and a quick release so it can be split for carers to access both sides easily. (The master bedroom also has an electric ceiling mounted track hoist, rated at up to 125kg) a double and a twin bedroom. Get better acquainted with your surroundings and visit the historic Dyffryn Ardudwy Burial Chamber for panoramic views of Cardigan Bay, explore the hidden gem of Cors y Gedol or lay back on the sandy Benar Beach. For independent cafes and restaurants, head into the town of Harlech, where you can meander around the medieval castle, enjoy mountainous views from Harlech Beach and tee up at a championship golf course, Royal St David's.. The lovely community of Dyffryn Ardudwy is peacefully nestled between the Rhinogs, a section of the Snowdonia Mountains, and the gorgeous golden beaches of North Wales. Because of its unique location, this quaint community enjoys its own moderate temperature and has excellent local stores and taverns. A wide variety of fauna and birds, including flying buzzards, can be found in the surrounding area. Harlech, a little village about 4 miles away, is dominated by its grand 13th century castle, a unesco World Heritage Site and the most impressive of Edward I's strongholds in North Wales. Harlech is well-known among golfers for its famous Royal St. David's course, but it also offers a wide range of services, including some outstanding restaurants.

The kettle was dirty inside we had to give it a good deep clean with descaling liquid. No hot water for the kitchen sink lucky we had a dishwasher there. The double sliding door would not open easily took 2 of us to open the door. The cooker wasnât working properly kept knocking off. Cleaner wasnât working properly it burnt itself out and give off a smell of burning. The mop bucket was broken so NO mopping could be done. Not properly pointed out that second car is to be parked on the grass opposite the bungalow and that there is a big stone there which you can catch your car on when revising into the grass part. As this is what happened to us.

On arrival it was filthy and clearly rundown. The laminate floor is chipped and bliwn in many, many places and not a great first impression. We called the contact number and were told it would be cleaned. We went out and when we returned it had been barely touched by the "cleaners" and remained filthy. I called again to complain and was told there was nothing they could do that night but to upload pictures to the app. I had to clean it myself so we could take our shoes off and at least try to relax. I was unable to upload pictures to the app due to poor signal even with the wifi connected. The next day I requested an email address through the app. It was ignored. I asked for email address three times and was ignored. I found the agent on Facebook and sent an email of complaint to the posted email address along with photos. No response. Towards the end of the week I received another email address through the app but not offered any solution only a half hearted sorry. I forwarded the email previously sent but received no reply. The day before we left we received a call but only to offer another email address. I complained officially once we were home and supplied 41 photos showing the state of the property. We were offered £100 in compensation. I declined this as the reviews clearly show problems as I have stated above. They chose to ignore them despite promises to address them and there is always the feeble apologies. The property is not as advertised but tatty and tired. Alone I could have put up with it being tired if it had been clean but it was far from clean. We gave opportunity to put right the issue, it was attempted but a spectacular failure. No follow up, no response what so ever. Isn't it our right to turn up to a clean and maintained property? It's there somewhere in the t&c's. I will not use Sykes again. There is obviously no procedure in place to keep the condition of a property to a certain standard and once you are there its tough, they don't want to know. All you get is we are sorry for this and sorry for that. A nice big dose of lipservice with a tough sh@t attitude because they clearly dont care. We looked forward to this holiday. It was booked 8 months prior to arrival. For it to be in the state it was, it is certainly not worth the money. You should hang your heads in shame. At least Dick Turpin wore a mask! I plan on going to small claims court as I am absolutely outraged with the fact it happened to start with and of how our complaint was handled.

Makeup found side of settee. Dog treats from previous occupants by coffee table unclean furniture and bed. Water leaks in conservatory. And wet chair. Dirty towels left in laundry. Generally uncared garden. Not up to sykes usual standard. If this property is designed for disabled it should only be let out for this purpose only very disappointed.
