Moelwyn View sleeping up to 5 guests
Located in the historic mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog from which you can enjoy splendid views of the Moelwyn mountains and a whole host of culture, activities and entertainment.
Located in the heart of the former slate quarrying town of Blaenau Ffestiniog, this delightful mid terraced holiday cottage has splendid views of the Moelwyn mountains that surround the town and makes a great base for exploring the area. Within walking distance of a pub serving delicious bar meals, it’s also close to the famous Ffestiniog Railway, imagine travelling on a narrow gauge steam train as the line twists and turns on its journey down to the sea at Porthmadog, whilst enjoying refreshments served at your seat. Blaenau Ffestiniog is fast becoming a mecca for adventure activities, ranging from the worlds largest zip wire zone at Zipworld Titan, and the exciting Bounce Below where you can bounce on trampoline nets in an underground slate cavern the size of St Paul’s Cathedral, to the Stiniog Downhill Mountain Bike trails (there’s even bike storage and washing facilities at the holiday cottage!). There are walks a plenty in the Snowdonia National Park which surrounds Blaenau, with the Cambrian coast and Harlech Castle to explore in one direction and the pretty village of Betws-y-Coed in the other.
