Indulge in your mouth-watering creations at the table, before clearing up with the help of the dishwasher and enjoying an entertaining evening playing all of your favourite board games. Climb the staircase to the first-floor shower room for a quick rinse under the spacious walk-in shower whilst your towel keeps nice and toasty on the heated rail, or retreat to one of the two gorgeous bedrooms consisting of a king-size and a double. Take a seat in the colourful Mediterranean-style courtyard and enjoy a refreshing glass of wine, before climbing the steep stone staircase up to the rear terrace and admiring the spectacular views across Harlech whilst delighting in dinner alfresco.
Grab your coats and pull on your walking boots as you head out on a thrilling expedition exploring the incredible clifftops and sugary shores of the North Wales Coast Path, stopping off at Dyffryn Ardudwy Burial Chamber and Cors y Gedol - Neolithic Site as you make your way towards the town of Barmouth. Bask in the sunshine on the pebbled shores of Traeth Abermaw Beach and admire views from Dinas Oleu, or cross the iconic Barmouth Bridge to the RSPB Mawddach Valley for a spot of birdwatching. Discover Arthog Waterfall and take a scenic ride through the countryside on the miniature steam train of Fairbourne Railway, or climb to the peak of Penygader and wander Mach Loop.
Closer to home the medieval fortress of Harlech Castle is well-worth a visit, whilst the Italian-style village of Portmeirion sits within easy touring distance and offers an excellent day out for the whole family. Visit Porthmadog and tour the Maritime Museum or hop aboard the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways, or head to Criccieth to see the coastal fortress of Castle Criccieth and Amgueddfa Lloyd George Museum. Grab your bikes and explore the rugged terrains of Coed y Brenin Forest Park, before returning to Harlech for a quick pint with the locals and a bite to eat at the local takeaway.
