Wonderfully located and equipped cottage, which is almost impossible to fault. We had a great time exploring the area with the dog - the road next to the cottage is so quiet we didn't even need to venture onto the numerous footpaths. Beaches at Barmouth, Harlech, Criccieth and Llandanwg are all beautiful and really close by. Highly recommended.

This cottage was stunning. The owners were friendly and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. The welcome tray waiting for us when we arrived was lovely, using local produce and some real treats. We also had a lovely surprise waiting for us on the day of our Golden Wedding - quite unexpected and so thoughtful! Lovely views from the garden, beautiful scenery all around and so much to see and do in the immediate area and beyond. Would love to return.

This is one of the best holiday cottages I have stayed in. Very comfortable, and very well appointed. We loved the location, with wonderful sea views, and hill walking right outside the house. It was also peaceful, with birdsong and sheep the predominant background noise. Harlech is an interesting and attractive small town, with an amazing beach and sand dunes, and fab castle. I recommend the slate caverns, and steam train rides out of Porthmadog, as things to do. NB: head to and from the cottage via Llanfair to avoid the steep, single track, winding road up from Harlech centre. Great holiday.
