This well appointed apartment is situated within the owner`s large country property. They take great pride in ensuring you have an enjoyable stay and provide a welcoming selection of home made and local produce on your arrival.
There are two bedrooms, both furnished with your comfort in mind to ensure a restful night`s sleep. The accommodation also includes a quality shower room; a utility room with washing machine and dishwasher; and a modern fitted kitchen with dining area and lounge in open plan form, which is perfect for everyone to gather and chat about the days activities.
There is certainly plenty of exploring to do in this region including, nearby, miles of idyllic coastline, picture perfect beaches and dunes, cycle routes and woodland/country/moorland walks, so you will be spoilt for choice. Just down the road you will find the village of Harlech with its shops, cafes, leisure centre, golf course and the imposing unesco world heritage site, Harlech Castle. Bustling Barmouth is also only a short distance away and has many eating, shopping and recreational facilities. Enjoy the beach and dunes, take a walk along the promenade or indulge in some fish and chips. An iconic feature of the town is Barmouth Bridge, a 150-year-old railway viaduct across the Mawddach Estuary. It is half a mile in length and has access suitable for pedestrians and cyclists. Nantcol waterfalls are just 2 miles away from the apartment towards the Rhinog mountains and offer a perfect place for a family picnic by the stream.
All in all, a fantastic location to explore this area of the Snowdonia National Park.

We enjoyed the very peaceful location here. The cottage was presented very well. Everything you needed was available. The Welcome pack was very much appreciated. For us, it was a centre for travel to Barmouth, Portmeiron and Anglesey. We would definitely consider returning here in the future.

Cysgod Y Coed was one of the loveliest places we’ve stayed at . From the moment we walked in & found the lovely welcome pack greeting us ,to the time we reluctantly had to go home , everything was 10/10 Beautiful apartment, beautiful setting , lovely accommodation, absolutely everything was perfect. We will definitely be making a return.

Really not sure what to expect from both the property and location however, we were over the moon with where we stayed.Super clean, all the home comforts you need. Sometimes with holiday lets the equipment can be a little hit and miss but here you had everything and more for a very comfortable stay. We actually looked forward to heading back on an evening for dinner and a relax.The owners were super helpful but really respected your privacy and we felt very comfortable. Location wise, it’s perfect. Short walk to local pubs and also local routes to explore the area. So quiet and peaceful but close to the village and main road. Could not fault the place at all!
