There are some wonderful walks and cycle rides from the front door of the apartment to the lakes and waterfalls of Cwm Nantcol and Cwm Bychan and beyond to the Rhinog mountains. Just over two miles away are the beaches and dunes of Shell Island, and the Llanfair slate caverns and farm park lie a short distance to the north. Two miles further on is the World Heritage Site of Harlech Castle, along with the delightful town itself and its wonderful six miles of sands and the Royal St. David’s links golf course. The beaches, shops and restaurants of the resort of Barmouth (Abermaw) lie just seven miles to the south.
