Croesor Bach is a stunning, traditional, detached farmhouse, with an abundance of character features and its own garden. Situated in a beautiful, secluded location at the top of the picturesque Upper Croesor Valley within the beautiful Snowdonia National Park, the house is perfect for anyone seeking a quiet and tranquil holiday.

Croesor Bach is approached up a quarter of a mile long private drive, which opens out into a large parking area where you can park up to four cars, before entering into boot room where you can kick off your shoes and enter into your wonderful retreat.

The kitchen is the heart of the house, has an abundance of farmhouse character, yet is equipped for contemporary living and contains everything you and your guests need to test your culinary skills and cook delicious meals, using the grand Stanley range cooker, before you all retreat to the dining room, which is also decorated in a farmhouse style, to the large oak dining table to tuck into your meal and toast to a wonderful holiday that stands before you.

The cleaning up is made easier with help from the dishwasher, and you’ll be delighted to also find a washing machine and tumble dryer, so you and your guests can leave with a bag full of clean washing!

Sink into one of the large leather sofas and watch a film on the HD TV using the DVD player, as the open fire crackles away in the background and keeps you warm and toasty on a cold winter evening.

Upstairs, you will find four wonderful bedrooms; a family room with a double and a single, a twin room and two double rooms, sharing the floor with the bathroom that has a bath, separate shower with a hand-held shower, basin and WC.

Heading back downstairs and outside, the enclosed garden surrounds the house and has beautiful views across and down the valley, there is a terraced area, with an outdoor table and chairs, from which to sit and enjoy the peaceful scenery and stunning views over Snowdonia National Park.

Explore the local area by foot with the village of Penrhyndeudraeth offering a range of wonderful amenities including a variety of restaurants where you can indulge in delicious meals, as well as a handful of shops where you can pick up fresh ingredients for your home-cooked meals, as well as a Post Office for convenience where you can also send a postcard to your loved ones back home, showing them the stunning scenery you are spending your holiday in.

Explore the area from a different view via the Ffestiniog Railway, which takes you across 40 miles of the luscious landscapes of the Snowdonia National Park, and makes a great choice for those seeking a more leisurely way to see the wonders of the area.

Those seeking outdoor adventure will delight at the ample walking and cycling routes within the National Park, with many mountain peaks to tackle too offering rewarding views well-worth the ramble.

Spend a day within the nearby Italianate village of Portmeirion, home to four quaint shops where you can pick up the perfect souvenir including No6 Shop selling Portmeirion Pottery and confectioneries and The Prisoner Shop selling keepsakes from the famed series filmed here, as well as Italian style gelateria, award-winning restaurants, awe-inspiring architecture and a sandy beach making it a fantastic day out for all ages.

The harbour town of Porthmadog also lies close by, an extremely scenic spot for a day trip where you can learn more about the rich history of the area in its Maritime Museum, as well as embark on another journey along the Ffestiniog Railway to the slate town of Blaenau Ffestiniog, "the town that roofed the world".

The large village of Penrhyndeudraeth boasts a selection of shops and a variety of restaurants, Post Office and a railway station which takes you along the Ffestiniog Railway. Just two miles away is the celebrated unique Italianate village of Portmeirion, which was the location of the TV show The Prisoner, and is surrounded by sandy beaches and captivating woodlands. The harbour town of Porthmadog is a little further along, where you can journey along the Ffestiniog Railway to the slate town of Blaenau Ffestiniog, "the town that roofed the world". To the north is the pretty village of Beddgelert, which is set around the Afon Glaslyn River and offers craft shops, pubs, tea rooms, restaurants, and an enchanting riverside walk, and it’s also located in the stunning Snowdonia National Park, from where you can spend hours admiring the beautiful scenery on foot or by bike. Penrhyndeudraeth is an ideal base for exploring the Llyn Peninsula, Snowdonia National Park and many other places in North Wales.
