Cefn-Yr-Efail is a well-received holiday cottage in North Wales, praised for its great location, spaciousness, and welcoming host. Guests have enjoyed the beautiful views, peaceful surroundings, and well-equipped kitchen. While some have noted areas for improvement, the overall experience is positive, with many looking forward to returning.
Cleanliness has received mixed feedback. Some guests found the cottage immaculate, while others noted issues with dog hairs, dust, and mould. The presence of stains on bedding was also mentioned, suggesting room for improvement in this area.
The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, stunning views, and convenience for exploring Snowdonia. Guests have appreciated the rural setting and proximity to local attractions, making it an ideal base for their holiday.
Comfort is generally well-regarded, with guests finding the property spacious and the beds comfortable. However, some guests mentioned that certain single beds and sofas could be improved for better comfort.
Facilities are appreciated for being modern and well-equipped, particularly the kitchen. However, there are comments about maintenance issues such as non-working extractor fans, loose dining chairs, and the need for additional bathroom facilities for larger groups.
While some guests mentioned receiving complimentary fresh eggs and a warm welcome, there is not enough consistent information about thoughtful gestures or gifts to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

The beds were very comfotable. There was one problem with the upstairs shower, it was leaking and could not be used. The views from the property are amazing and the location is excellent for visiting other areas in Wales. The owner of the property very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely book again.

The fridge/freezer was temperamental and once stopped working so we lost our freezer goods, the next day it was working again. Some blinds had broken bits and didn't shut properly. The patio wood had rotten parts in areas. The upstairs flooring creaked whenever it was walked on and being a light sleeper, it woke me up or I woke others up as I moved around.

Beautiful views that can be enjoyed from the garden. Very peaceful. Beds comfortable. Kitchen contained all the necessary equipment. We very much enjoyed our visit.
