Groes Newydd is a charming cottage in North Wales, praised for its cosy atmosphere, stunning views, and suitability as a peaceful retreat. Guests appreciate the warmth of the Aga, the comfortable furnishings, and the property's proximity to nature and local attractions. The challenging access road adds to the secluded charm, though it may not suit all drivers.

Cleanliness

The cottage generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, with fresh linen and a tidy setup. However, some guests noted areas for improvement, such as dust and the presence of insects, which slightly lowers the score.

Location

The location is highly praised for its beautiful scenery, tranquillity, and proximity to walking trails and attractions. The steep and narrow access road is noted, but it contributes to the cottage's secluded appeal.

Comfort

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with cosy beds and a warm Aga. Some mentioned the property can become too warm, and there were comments about the need for better mattresses and protectors, which slightly affects the score.

Facilities

Facilities are generally good, with a well-equipped kitchen and reliable Wi-Fi. Maintenance issues, such as garden upkeep and appliance reliability, have been raised, indicating room for improvement.

Offering stunning panoramic views of the countryside down to the Tremadog Bay estuary, this charming Llandecwyn cottage is full of charm and character, with a welcoming woodburning stove and pretty, enclosed gardens. This cosy Llandecwyn cottage is an absolute delight with a comfy sitting room which enjoys superb views over the gardens down to the estuary, where you can watch the changing tides all day long. The kitchen is well equipped, with a breakfast table for further dining options, and upstairs are the bathroom and the bedrooms, both benefiting from far-reaching views.
