This four-bedroom former dairy sleeps eight guests and is 1 mile from Dinas Mawddwy. Located on the southern fringes of Snowdonia National Park (Eryri), it is perfect for family, friends, and their dog, who love walking, hiking and cycling. The market town of Machynlleth, with its Museum of Modern Art, is 13 miles away, while Dolgellau, 10 miles away, is known as the starting point for climbing dramatic Cader Idris. The picturesque Mawddach Trail begins in Dolgellau and runs for 9.5 miles to Barmouth, along the southern edge of the Mawddach Estuary. Plan a day at the coast, venturing 19 miles to the spectacular beach at Fairbourne or 20 miles to the stretching golden sands of bustling Barmouth. Visit the Dyfi Wildlife Centre, 16 miles away, to see the majestic ospreys.
Park the car and walk round to the front of this welcoming house and step inside. Hang your jackets and slide off your boots before making yourselves at home walking down to the kitchen and lounge/diner. If eating in, you will find everything you need to conjure up feasts for your friends or family in the modern kitchen. Set the table, which is perfectly located by the feature glass windows and door to take in the view, and dine together in style. After a full day out relax in the lounge with comfortable sofas and you watch the Smart TV. Completing the downstairs layout is a spacious bedroom with king-size bed, Smart TV and elegant en-suite shower room. Head upstairs to choose from a further three bedrooms: the lovely double with en-suite shower room, the twin with views over the garden with river glimpses, and the bunk room with an additional single bed offering flexible sleeping for two guests. The family bathroom, where you have the luxury of both a bath and large walk-in shower for a leisurely start to the day.
The enclosed garden boasts a patio, feature planting, outdoor furniture including a coffee/dining table, and a charcoal BBQ. For plane enthusiasts the property sits in the valley of the well-known Mach Loop. Please note the property adjoins the owner’s home but your privacy is assured at all times. There is private parking for three cars, plus EV charging point and a rack to lock your bikes to.
