The Studio at Penyrheol is a mountain property with fabulous views reaching as far as the Severn Bridge, Wentwood Forest and Llangegfedd Reservoir. The Studio and the Annexe are part of the owners’ small holding and they have renovated the accommodations in 2021 to a very good standard.

The Studio is on the first floor and offers an open plan area which includes a kingsize bed, Smart TV, small kitchen area with fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave/grill, as well as an en-suite with shower cubicle. There is an enclosed courtyard accessed via 14 steps down with a private hot tub, bike store and seating area. Access is straight onto the common land and is perfect for walking your four legged friends, cycling or just exploring the countryside and enjoying the mountain air.

You could walk to Blaen Bran Reservoir along the nature trail or up to Cwm Lickey pond. There is plenty to do in the local area; take a picnic to Pontypool Park and maybe venture to the “Grotto” or the “Folly”. You could also visit Llandegfedd Lake and water sport centre and enjoy some refreshments in their lovely café. The Big Pit National Coal Museum is a fabulous day out where you can experience the underground history of the Welsh Miners. Cwmbran town centre is only a short drive away and offers plenty of shops if you need a little retail therapy. The Studio can be booked with the Annexe (UK36234) to accommodate up to 4 guests.
