Nearby is the town of Llantwit Major, where you can enjoy a day at the pebble and rock beach which is backed by cliffs and offers stunning views out to the sea and beyond. Next stop should be Barry, which has become increasingly popular since the release of the hit show Gavin and Stacey. In Barry you can expect thrills at the Pleasure Park, the fascinating Barry Castle, the tourist favourite of Barry Beach and of course, the home of Gavin and Stacey. Be sure to make a stop at Barry Tourist Railway, where you can learn more about the engines and take a trip to one of the other beautiful surrounding areas.
