It`s quirky and very cosy and an ideal getaway for two people. The village has every thing you need. The upstairs toilet was a bonus. A decent sized shower room, with plenty of hot water and lovely towels.. The owners, Kevin and Lynn, were so friendly, asking if we had everything we needed... That means a lot to us. This is a beautifully converted compact property in a great location. It has a high standard of cleanliness and is very well equipped. The proximity to the village is excellent for day to day supplies, cafes and takeaways although the pubs (excellent by the way) are a little further afield! There is secure storage for cycles and some lovely walks and rides to be had straight from the door. Snape, Aldburgh and Woodbridge are only a short drive away. Lovely friendly and helpful owners too. Would definitely recommend this property

What a wonderful week we’ve had. The treats upon arrival were much appreciated and got our holiday off to a great start. The location of the cottage is perfect and enabled us to explore so much of this lovely part of the country. Minsmere, Dunwich Heath and Boynton Hollesley were fantastic for walking and birding. It was so nice to return to such a cosy and comfortable ‘home from home’ at the end of each day. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cottage with us and for making this the restful and relaxing break we both needed.

A beautiful and unique property, in a great location and centre for exploring a wide area of the coast and countryside. A very private hide-away, but the owners were on hand should anything be needed. Shops for essentials were also just a ten minute walk away. My favourite nearby location was Woodbridge (5 miles away) where there was plenty to see and do, and a wonderful river-side walk to get away from everything (bird-watching excellent especially at low tide). Recommended without reservation.

The bed was super comfy and the shower was great with both overhead and adjustable options. We appreciated the delicious welcome treats and the beautiful vase of garden flowers. The tranquil setting was perfect for getting away from it all and relaxing but the location was also great for exploring the many interesting places Suffolk has to offer. A hidden gem.
