  Our party of eight had a fantastic weekend stay and we highly recommend the property.

  It’s very easy to find, with a pretty drive and tons of parking space. The house is lovely, very private yet only a short walk into Frome, and superbly equipped. The main open plan living area is fantastic, comfortable sofas, cosy underfloor heating, a huge dining table and a great kitchen. All of the bedrooms are large, comfortable and have high quality bedding. We made use of several of the restaurants close by, the Royal Bengal Indian just 2 minutes away, Bistro Lotte for lunch on a busy Saturday and the Old Bath Arms for Sunday roasts, all were very good. Any areas for improvement, just a couple of things, there is only a family bathroom plus an on-suite in the main bedroom (there is a downstairs cloakroom also) so for a 6 bedroom house it could do with an extra bath or shower room…and the temperature varied across the house, upstairs bedrooms hot, downstairs bedrooms cold. But these are small things and overall we were incredibly happy with the house, it’s brilliant.

  I can honestly say that all 12 of us absolutely loved staying at the property.

  It was well-maintained and all the facilities spot on. With a few hidden extras! Had no idea that the grounds were so big. And the bookcase door to the seller room is a genius idea. The kitchen had every utensil that we needed and more. Could not fault the cleanliness at all it was spotless, apart from unfortunately the cooker which really could do with a good clean. Which I totally understand can't be done every time. If there was a metal scratchy scrubber I could of at least cleaned the grates and trays better. But honestly that is the only downside of the whole experience. Which is miner. We loved the big communal living area and I think that's what made our weekend so great as we were always all together. I am really hoping that we can stay there again In the future.

  10 out of 10 we all loved every minute of our stay!

  ! We had everything we needed and more and the bottle of wine was a lovely touch, thank you. If I had to suggest 1 thing, it would be the hot tub… by Sunday morning it was quite cloudy and smelly, so became off putting. If there was a way a top up of chemicals could be added mid stay, I think that would make the experience more enjoyable as at the end of the day 9 people in a hot tub is bound to off balance the chemicals. I also think a future upgrade of the hot tub would be something to look into as you offer a 12 person stay with a small tub. Otherwise can’t wait to book again!!

  The property was as advertised and pictured.

  Well appointed, comfortable quiet location and very peaceful. Cool mod-cons made it super easy to do meals and negotiate the surroundings. The Sonos speakers made it very enjoyable to sit and listen to great music and was a real bonus given the ongoing Glastonbury festival during our visit. We had an issue with a door bolt that locked us out of 1 of the rooms for a night but there were other rooms and it worked out OK with a repair organised and carried out on schedule. The owner was very attentive and understanding to our needs regarding the whole matter!!

  A fabulous property beautifully presented.

  Very highly recommended. Children loved the cellar and made it their own. They did not want to leave and described it as 'best holiday ever' Likewise the 'well' feature is a clever and attractive concept. The only very minor problem was not taking a 2 to 3 pin plug converter as the en suite does not have a shaver socket so I could not charge my razor or electric toothbrush. OK for a short stay but not anything longer. Hope to return for another stay in the future.
