  We had a super time at Tigh-na-Mara, it’s a great cottage, a hop skip & jump from the beach and 5 minutes to the harbour square. For our four legged member, perfect enclosed patio (escape proof) & enclosed kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped, has the option of a bath or shower, very cosy and possibly the best holiday cottage bed for comfort we’ve stayed in. It was fabulous to hear the sea lying in bed. We relaxed very quickly and would love to return. Porthleven is a lovely quaint fishing port. One helpful point for future visitors is the parking, the space is not a problem but on exiting, there are often parked vehicles opposite. My husband managed to negotiate his L200 out but with care. This is not a complaint or to put people off, just the heads up. There’s also plenty to do in Porthleven that you don’t need to leave. Happy holidays if you choose here.

  Fantastic location for the town, only a few minutes walk to the harbour and 10 minute walk to the beach. Porthleven is fabulous and has everything from beautiful galleries, gift shops, restaurants and an amazing deli. Our 2 boys loved fishing and crabbing off the harbour. Excellent base to visit Lizard, Kaynance Cove, Porthtowan and St Ives. Lovingly decorated and very clean cottage with a thoughtful welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee, scones, jam and cream. The kitchen is in the cellar, down a narrow staircase so wouldnt recommend for anyone with poor mobility or very young children. Really useful utility room and we even found a body board in the outside store. Would definitely stay again.

  We had an amazing week at White Rose Barn. The property is beautiful and the bifold doors open out to a stunning view of the Cornish countryside, we sat every morning having breakfast with a beautiful view. The hot tub was a great touch and perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The barn had everything we needed, all the details, from the decoration to the kitchen setup, had clearly been really well thought out. The beds were super comfortable and it was ideal for six of us and two dogs. Great location, peaceful but close to everything. We loved it, will definitely stay again. Don’t hesitate if you’re thinking of booking, you won’t be disappointed!

  A wonderful cottage in a great location in Cornwall. You really feel like you are out in the countryside as the property faces rolling hills and is very quiet outside but also located closley to shops and plenty of walks and beaches.The property has been finished to a high standard and is comfortable and welcoming. Living area was cosy and we liked the open plan layout allowing us to enjoy cooking together and snuggle up around the log burner. Underfloor heating was welcomed in the winter weather and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely return, possibly in the summer to enjoy the lovely garden and bifold doors.

  Thanks for an amazing base for the week. We fell in love with Porthleven last year and just had to return. We've made good use of the dog friendly beach and Alex has enjoyed climbing on the rocks and crabbing in the harbour. Lifeboat Day was the highlight of the week - even better than last year with the addition of the S-92 helicopter! We can highly recommend The Atlantic Inn (just behind the cottage) for great food, beers, a wonderful sea view and friendly locals. A fabulous end to two weeks of relaxing in Cornwall and I'm pretty sure we'll all be back very soon!
