An Cala was in a beautiful location. We were blessed with pleasant weather but even in bad weather to just sit and look at the changing stunning view from the lounge window would be so enjoyable. Very nice house, well stocked and comfortable beds. Lovely spacious dog safe garden. Lacking in a few touches like some welcome items as we have experienced in other places. Also a wee treat/ blanket etc would have been nice for our dog as we found An Cala via a dog friendly holidays search. Early departure of 0930 was ridiculous and slightly spoiled our last evening planning for the next morning. We would recommend to others.

The holiday house was well equipped, nicely furnished and very spacious. Ideal for our family get together. There was plenty of parking and a dog secure garden at the front with a smaller sheltered decked area at the rear both with garden furniture for outdoor eating/barbeques. The location was ideal for us being only a few mile away from Oban and with many castles, gardens, walks and attractions in the area we were never short of things to do. It was a very enjoyable stay and would definitely return in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cologin Farmhouse: the house was comfortable and we - my husband, our four children (aged 12-20) and my mother - felt at home there. The hot tub was great when it got going. Katie, the manager, was friendly and responsive. The surroundings were lovely, and we had a really nice walk to the loch. We also went to the bar and had a good time there and in the garden outside. Oban was only a 10 minutes drive away. It all worked out very well for us.

The accommodation was not as big as photos imply and definitely not as remote, the road noise was quite loud in the upstairs bedroom. The property was clean and well equipped however hot water supply was very limited. Three bathrooms but 3 short showers used all the hot water leaving 5 out of the 8 of us with cold showers. Plenty of parking space. Lovely location with easy access to nearby beaches and the lovely town of Oban.

We had a lovely stay, very clean well equipped property, lovely space and garden, good locality. Great value for the price. Would have been nice to have a pint of milk on arrival to make a drink, there was tea, coffee, but there is a local tesco and lidl in oban 10 mins away. Oyster bar serves lovely food and good value, we ate there twice, beautiful sunsets over the water across from the bar.
