Sanderling is in the perfect location to explore North Devon with the Tarka trail on the doorstep and a very short drive to Saunton Sands. The property has everything you would need if you wish to have some nights in however there are some lovely restaurants a short walk away. The outside shower is perfect after a day on the beach to clean down surf equipment and the dog! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here.

Lovely large proportions whether referring to the room size, the dining room chairs and table, the sofas and TV or the King Size double beds. The Williams Arms (20min walk or 5min drive) has fabulous food (carvery every day 12-2pm). Great bakery in the village centre and Squires the fish & chip shop a must!

We just had a fantastic stay at the sanderling. It was clean, spacious and in a great location set on a residential road just outside of town, with a short walk to the nearest shop and supermarket it has quick access to everything. We loved the upstairs bedroom and the beds were super comfortable it really felt like home from home.

Around the corner is a public bridleway, ideal for dog walks and a 5 minute drive from Saunton Sands, an all year round fantastic dog friendly beach. Would definitely recommend this property.
