  This is a really lovely cottage and has a great garden for dogs.

  (But if your dog can jump fences it may be a problem) The beds are comfy. There are lots of kitchen equipment Inc bun tin and electric hand mixer ( we baked with my little grandson) It's just let down by the scrimpy thimble sized ( literally) washing up liquid suitable for 2 bowls of washing up !! 3 dishwasher tablets 3 toilet rolls(for a 7 day stay for 6 people) Don't expect a welcome pack either. Never stayed in a cottage at this price point that doesn't provide a welcome pack with a few biscuits or wine or milk, cakes or other provisions, a full sized washing up liquid and at least 7 dishwasher tablets( these things are just a nice touch and would take this cottage up a notch without costing much)Main TV in living area is not very good if you want to watch streaming services. Would we stay again. Yes because the above are minor niggles and meant as constructive criticism and everything else was really good and the location is lovely too.

  This was our first time booking with Coquet Cottages and they lived up to our expectations! It is often very difficult to find high end luxury accommodation when travelling with family pets, especially when you have more than one. They also offer a friendly ‘dog sitting’ service at very reasonable rates which we used during our stay. We arrived to our delight to find a very thoughtful luxury hamper including the essentials for a very welcomed cuppa and scone! Not to forget the ‘doggy basket’ including treats for our two dogs. They do have specific rules in place for pets but our two spoilt pooches were fine with this. Cottage was beautiful with a great back garden and decking area. Warkworth was a great place to stay. Customer service is excellent, and very easy to contact if you should have any issues. We will definitely be back soon!!!

  Great week long holiday at No.31. The weather was excellent, with only one cloudy day. The house is beautifully presented and comfortable. The welcome pack and voucher are a lovely additional touch. Morning breakfast on the terrace is a real treat. The dogs loved spending time in the garden. Morning birdsong is wonderful. It was great not to have to drive anywhere on several days, great walks from the front door, (Warkworth – Alnmouth, Warkworth – Amble) plus X18 bus to coastal towns. Beaches we love – Embleton, Duridge, Warkworth, and Cresswell – we found a great traditional inn a few miles drive away – The Cook & Barker over at Newton on the Moor! It was well worth the drive, very dog friendly and had great food. The Hermitage has live music on a Wednesday evening! We hope to return next year!

  Northumberland born and bred – very familiar with our special coastal area. First time staying in Warkworth and No.31. What a beautiful house – so comfortable and cosy – everything you could possibly want. The garden is gorgeous – Alfie loved running in and out with his ball. We would love to live here. The beds are very comfy! Thank you for the lovely welcome basket for us and Alfie – he loved his treats, and the scones were yummy! Thank you for making our stay a very memorable one. Recommend The Whittling House, Alnmouth for Sunday lunch and a lovely beach walk.
