What our customers say about their holidays

This beautifully converted âcow shedâ was fantastic.
There are too many great things to mention everything, but this place suited us perfectly. Nesta, the lovely owner, made us feel very welcome with a bottle of fizz in the fridge cooling down and the hot tub heating up. The location was stunning, one side overlooking the sea and the other the mountains (which we explored). The local beach was fun to explore, and we found a lovely walk up the local mountains (Three Sisters, I think) with views to die for. We explored Angelsey which was stunning, Betws y Coed, went south to beaches in Pwhelli and Abersoch and went hiking up Snowdon. We could have filled up another week with things to do! Then, when youâve had a busy day and want to relax, the hot tubâs the absolute place to be. The cottage has everything from lovely fluffy towels to milk and bubbly in the fridge. The shower and bathroom were lovely, beds comfy and kitchen was fully equipped. Phone reception (on 3 and EE) wasnât too good but the WiFi worked well. Had a Tesco delivery just after we arrived, that worked perfectly. The track up to the cottage is very bumpy, but is only 1/4 mile, so not too bad. There wasnât much privacy in the garden and hot tub area, but after a couple of days we got used to it. The garden was lovely for our dog, although itâs not fenced in, so you have to keep an eye on your dog all the time. All-in-all this place gets a 10 out of 10 from us, superb holiday, thank you!

We had a lovely stay.
The beds and bedding were high quality. We loved the massive hot tub, plenty of room in and stayed hot. Garden fully secure for our dog which was reassuring, she didn't want to leave. We had Tesco delivered to us and we wouldn't have had to leave the house all week if we didn't need to! Could walk the dog from the doorstep. The road to the cottage passed the farmhouse has pot holes and some is single track but just drive slowly. Was so quiet and peaceful, much needed break from our stressful lives. Didn't need the fire as we had lovely weather and the heating system works well if needed. TV in Cosy living area has apps with netflix etc. We have rebooked for next year for a week. Only feedback to owner would be that it would be helpful to have some hooks for towels in downstairs bathroom. We also couldn't get the TV working in the sunroom sitting area but that could just be us not doing something right! See you next November!

Overall, we loved our stay and The White House was a great base to explore the area.
Having the stunning beach, footpaths, shop and discovering the fantastic arts centre and cafe at Plas Glyn-y-Weddw all within easy reach meant there was so much on the doorstep. Hot tub was a lovely treat after a cold day out walking! Our only comments on the house were that it felt a little sparse - blinds in the bathrooms would be appreciated for privacy and comfort, some door mats to help keep the place clean and a few more mugs, plates and bowls (a lot were badly chipped). Would be nice to have been left a few more essentials; we found only 4 tea bags and 3 dishwasher tablets. There was a note left out still from the previous guests commenting that the timer for the heating and hot water needed resetting, which we also found as it came on at strange times so had to use it manually. Also, two of the outdoor lights don't work. All things that can be easily remedied and overall we had a lovely stay.

The whole family enjoyed our holiday a Y Beudy.
So quiet and peaceful and a lovely sea view. The hot tub was great at the end of a busy day. The grandkids loved the horses and foals and we were lucky to see one that was only a few hours old. The cottage was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed and the bottle of prosecco that was awaiting us was enjoyed whilst sat in the hot tub. Nestar and her husband were so welcoming and very helpful. The rural location makes it ideal for a relaxing break but still lots of places to visit within half hours drive. Beaches close by and a country park which on this occasion we didnt visit. The air museum we came across on a trip to the beach it was really interesting and great for a rainy day. We would definately recommend a stay here and hopefully will return

Our arrival was met with a tray of sandwiches and cake, which was unexpected, but most welcome after a long car journey!
The accommodation was fully functional, cosy, and with the enjoyment of the hot tub, a relaxing place to stay after each day of sports exercise. The main issue experienced, however, was the poor quality second bed and mattress. The bed frame was split, the mattress very squeaky and well overdue for replacement. This resulted in consistently poor quality sleep. With neighbours in the next door holiday cottage too, the wi-fi was often slow. As the owner was away, no actions were possible to rectify. Thanks to the owner of the house nearby for the lend of maps and tips on local walking routes!
