The Croft is a beautiful, well equipped holiday home just a ten minute walk from Ilfracombe Harbour. The house had everything we needed and there was more than enough space for our family (7 adults and our dog). The kitchen is quite small compared to the other rooms but it was very well equipped. Parking was a bit of a challenge as it's all on street in the area and there are a lot of vehicles around. But we always manged to squeeze in somewhere. The very generous welcome gifts were much appreciated - tea, coffee, sugar, wine, fresh flowers, cake and biscuits! We had a fantastic family holiday in The Croft and would recommend it without hesitation.

Perfect for me on my own wanting a quiet break. The Den is in a central location in Lynton so close to small supermarket, various eating places, churches - RC and Anglican and very near to the cliff railway down to Lynmouth. The Den has been very well thought out and is beautiful in its simplicity. It was a wrench to have to leave it. Gary the housekeeper is great if you have any queries and is ready to 'sort out' any little glitches - not that I found any! Already thinking about my 4th visit before the end of the year I hope.

We really enjoyed our stay at Burrows Retreat. The property was located on a lovely quiet street with a great view. The centre of Braunton is just a five minute drive or fifteen minute walk away, and Braunton itself is in easy reach of a whole range of great spots - including Braunton Burrows, Croyde Bay, Ilfracombe, Appledore, and Westward Ho! The house had everything we needed and the garden was properly enclosed and perfect for our small dog. We would definitely recommend Burrows Retreat to other holiday makers.

Nice quirky cottage. Clean, comfortable and great location. Even though you are in the middle of town its very quiet. There is everything you need for a self catering holiday. Bed is nice and comfortable too. My only slight criticism would be that there needs to be more hanging space for clothes. Would of been OK for a long weekend but not enough room for 2 people for a week. Also just to point out the stair are very steep. I would recommend to anyone physically fit. (stairs)
