Seven en-suite bedrooms are spread thoughtfully across three wings, connected by separate staircases. Outside, the grounds stretch across three hectares of lawns and mature trees. Just a short stroll from the house, a small restaurant-bar in the village allows you to order your morning bread. For more provisions, head to nearby Sainte-Alvère (9.5km), a delightful village home to local shops (two bakeries, a butchers and grocery store), a winter truffle market and a charming Monday morning market. A broader range of amenities can be found in Lalinde (12km) by the Dordogne River. Stroll through Lalinde’s market on a Thursday or Sunday, where the traffic-free streets come alive with colour.

The surrounding region is bursting with things to do and explore. Canoeing along the Dordogne River is a must, and there are many wonderful walking, hiking and cycling routes across the area.
