Step outside and the experience continues. The private, heated pool stretches twelve metres long, edged with a sun terrace and loungers ideal for languid afternoons beneath the Dordogne sky. Children will love the swings and table tennis, and all the family can gather on the shaded dining terrace for long meals prepared on the barbecue. Domme (18km), a striking bastide perched high above the Dordogne River, captivates with sweeping vistas and historic charm. Down below, the river winds gently through postcard-perfect scenery, ideal for days spent canoeing past honey-hued cliffs and riverside hamlets. A little further along, the enchanting village of La Roque-Gageac (20km) nestles beneath towering limestone cliffs, where guests can enjoy relaxed river cruises, lively cafés and even an adrenaline-fuelled round of paintballing.
