For a wider range of shops and restaurants, head to the bustling town of Bazas (15km) and experience its lively weekly markets set beneath impressive arcades, as well as the town’s magnificent cathedral at its heart.
The region is a delight to explore. Meander through local market towns such as Marmande (24km) and Tonneins (38km), each brimming with regional charm and fresh local produce (tomatoes are a speciality in Marmande).
