Maison Siren is a contemporary abode set within a 150-hectare marina resort (Marina de Talaris), a large estate of holiday residences set within the pine forest a short walk from the shores of the Étang de Lacanau (1.5km) near France’s stunning Atlantic coast, only a 45-minute drive from Bordeaux International Airport.
A 1km walk away, the heart of the estate features a sports centre with a shared swimming pool (18x9m), tennis courts (reserve ahead) and a restaurant whilst there are horse-riding opportunities on the edge of the resort a little further afield. Do note services are seasonal and opening hours apply.
Furthermore, Lacanau’s villages amenities are just a very short drive away (3km). Here you will find a supermarket, bakery, butchers etc as well as a weekly market (June to September) and a Thursday evening night market in the height of the summer.
The Étang de Lacanau, a beautiful freshwater lake perfect for paddleboarding, sailing or wild swimming, lies just beyond the resort, while the Atlantic beaches of Lacanau-Océan are just fifteen minutes away by car. Here, golden sands stretch for miles and surf culture thrives alongside bustling summer beach bars and restaurants. A summer market takes place in Lacanau-Océan from mid-June to September.
