Just 8km by car, the town of Saint-Vincent-de-Tyrosse provides all essentials, including a train station and a well-stocked supermarket with a fresh fish, meat and cheese counter for your gourmet gatherings.
Within easy reach, the chic seaside town of Hossegor (18km) beckons with its vibrant culinary, shopping and surfing scene. Spend mornings wandering the shores of Lac d’Hossegor, where pine trees fringe the water and cafés invite you to linger over coffee or lunch. The calm waters of the lake are perfect for swimming, paddleboarding and watersports, while the golden sands of Plage d’Hossegor draw surfers from around the world to ride its famed Atlantic waves.
Don’t miss Hossegor’s daily covered market or Les Halles Gourmands on Thursday summer evenings – a celebration of the region’s food and wine. Capbreton (19.5km) is another must-visit for food lovers, with its bustling fish market by the port offering the freshest daily catch.
