Perched on a south-facing hillside above the Canal de la Siagne, Maison de la Siagne enjoys a wonderful position on the edge of the charming Provençal town of Mouans-Sartoux (1km). Just 25 minutes from Nice Airport and a short 30-minute drive to the glamorous beaches of Cannes, this enviable setting offers easy access to the best of the French Riviera.

The centre of Mouans-Sartoux is a leisurely 15-minute stroll (downhill, fairly steep on the way back) or a very short drive away, offering a wealth of local amenities and a wonderful choice of restaurants. This delightful town is known for its lively cultural calendar and weekly markets, where stalls brim with colourful produce, artisanal cheeses and fresh herbs. It’s also possible to walk to the train station with departures to Cannes, Antibes and Nice.

A short 10-minute drive north brings you to Grasse (8km), the world’s perfume capital, where centuries-old fragrance houses invite you to discover their craft and even create your own signature scent.

Meanwhile, the nearby medieval village of Mougins (4.5km) is famed for its gourmet dining and artistic heritage, having inspired Picasso and Cocteau. Wander its cobbled lanes, admire the art galleries and enjoy a leisurely lunch in one of its Michelin-starred restaurants. To the west, the elegant streets of Valbonne (6km) offer a picturesque square shaded by plane trees, perfect for coffee and people-watching after browsing the famous Friday morning market.

For a taste of Riviera glamour, Cannes (10km) is less than 30 minutes away, with its iconic La Croisette promenade, designer boutiques and golden sands. Beyond lies the chic shoreline of Juan-les-Pins, the historic ramparts of Antibes (17km) and the sophisticated charm of Nice (32km), where world-class dining meets vibrant markets and a sparkling seafront.
