Although remote, the town of Westport is just 4 miles from home offering local attractions, pubs and restaurants.
Entirely spacious throughout, you’ll never feel on top of one another when unwinding as a group in this ever-comfortable holiday home. Downstairs, a separate lounge, kitchen and dining room ensures there’s more than enough room for preparing meals, dining together and relaxing on an evening, with French doors from the lounge offering direct access into the enclosed garden to take the party outside when the sun shines. Throughout periods of grey, drizzly weather, the lounge invites cosy evenings and a warm ambience with its wood burner and TV. Five bedrooms have been thoughtfully arranged with a variety of guests in mind, all positioned either on the ground or first floors. One callout is the family bedroom on the ground floor, a superb choice for those with kids.
Nearby Westport is an exceptional heritage town on County Mayo’s coast. It’s a foodie haven with plenty of exceptional choices for dining out, perhaps after an afternoon at the regal Westport House (4.5 miles). Within view of the town, Croagh Patrick Mountain is less than 10 miles away and offers some of the most beautiful sights in Ireland. Just below it, Bertra Beach (11 miles) is just as awe-inspiring with its award-winning sands and vibrant birdlife.
