Well suited to families and groups of friends, it offers a woodland break with forest trails, on-site water activities, and abundant wildlife to discover. The forest park and lakeshore form part of a designated Special Protection Area and Special Area of Conservation, home to red squirrels, pine martens, otters, and over 47 recorded bird species. From the on-site jetty, boat trips reach the historic Clogh Oughter Castle and the uninhabited Inch Island, set among the intricate network of interconnecting lakes. Back on land, a 30-mile cycling loop winds through Belturbet, Miltown, and Killeshandra, while shorter walking and cycling trails criss-cross the forest park itself.
The ground floor opens into a generous open-plan living, dining, and kitchen space, with large windows filling the room with natural light. The cabin has its own private balcony overlooking the woodland and a private outdoor hot tub. The enclosed garden has a BBQ area and a covered outdoor seating area. Across the wider site, guests have access to shared facilities including bicycle hire, kayak hire, boat hire and tours, paddleboards, fishing, spa treatments with a Japanese bath and sauna, and a licensed bar, all shared with other guests. Parking is provided in a free car park on-site.
