It is a requirement of the British waterways for each individual to have a license to use any floating craft, and is a requirement to have a current fishing licence for each individual. Fishing is not permitted on the river during closed season between 15th March to 15th June.

Amazing cottage. Definitely worth a visit especially if you are looking to go off grid. We had group of 4 adults 4 children and never once felt on top of each other. Host is so accommodating and has thought of everything. We stayed in recent heatwave and although fans were provided it was very hot upstairs! We had so much fun and will definitely be returning again!
