Guests say

Alderley House receives glowing feedback for its spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped accommodation, ideal for families, groups, and dog owners. Guests praise the excellent location within easy walking distance of Bourton-on-the-Water, the privacy of en-suite bedrooms, secure gardens, and ample parking. The property is consistently described as clean and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches and responsive owners. Minor issues such as sofa comfort and a vacuum cleaner are mentioned but do not detract from overwhelmingly positive experiences. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in the Cotswolds.

Cleanliness is frequently highlighted, with guests describing the house as immaculately clean, beds and towels as beautifully fresh, and only rare minor mentions of dust or cobwebs. Overall, the property is maintained to a high standard.

The location is universally praised, with guests appreciating the short walk to the village centre, proximity to local attractions, and peaceful setting away from crowds. The setting is ideal for exploring Bourton-on-the-Water and the Cotswolds.

Guests find the house spacious, warm, and comfortable, with special mention of comfortable beds and the benefit of en-suite bedrooms. A few note the sofas could be more supportive, but this is a minor point in otherwise very positive feedback.

Facilities are highly rated, with well-equipped kitchens, secure gardens, ample parking, and strong WiFi. The en-suite bathrooms and utility room are appreciated. Only minor issues, such as a vacuum cleaner and bulky dining chairs, are mentioned.

Guests mention helpful and responsive owners, provision of fans during hot weather, and useful local advice. While thoughtful touches are noted, there is no mention of guaranteed gifts, so guests should not expect them as standard.

A delightful cottage with plenty of parking space and an enclosed garden for the dog . Very spacious rooms, a great supply of utensils in the kitchen and plenty of seating around the table for our celebration. Utility room is a bonus. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Alderley House was very comfortable clean and well equipped. The gardens were very nice and were used a lot as the weather was so good.
