Set within its own delightful garden, and located high up from the road, this characterful cottage is one of a pair. It has a homely ambience and has feature beams and an open fire set within an inglenook fireplace. The town with its old buildings, interesting shops, inns and restaurants, is within easy walking distance. There are many attractive Cotswold villages to visit in the area, offering historic houses, interesting museums and welcoming pubs. Stratford-upon-Avon 10 miles. Cheltenham 20 miles. Shops ¼ mile.

Beautiful chocolate box cottage. You cannot help but feel at home. Very warm and cosy. Everything you will need is available. Relaxed atmosphere. Private parking private garden. Just perfect.

Brilliant aesthetics. Charismatic experience that matched the required Cotswold environment. The cottage invoked feeling part of the Cotswold history. Self catering facilities were good. The property met my expectation of a 17th century stone thatched cottage ie super inglenook fireplace with an open fire (kiln dried logs only) provided a grand warmth visually and physically during the cold weather we experience;d: Rural, but close to shops. Great aesthetic look. Good 'housekeeper' support. One bathroom as expected, but there was also the clean outside toilet, so with planning it was no great problem. As is usual with such a period cottage there were some drafts.

We had another lovely stay at Rose Cottage. The location is excellent. A short walk into Chipping Campden and very convenient for visiting beautiful locations throughout the Cotswolds. Rose Cottage is very warm, welcoming and peaceful. Thank you to Marion for the milk and cake left for our arrival.
