Squirrel Cottage is the ideal destination for a romantic couple's getaway to the Cotswolds. This delightful three-storey cottage is situated in the centre of Tetbury, a historic wool town, lovingly referred to as the southern gateway to the Cotswolds.
The honey-coloured stone cottage is a classic example of Tetbury’s quintessential market town architecture. The cottage is set over three floors with a lovely, ground floor open-plan kitchen and dining area. Head up the spiral staircase to the stylishly furnished sitting room with wooden flooring and an electric stove effect fire. Ascending the second spiral staircase reveals the elegant top floor bedroom with 5' king-size four poster bed and en-suite shower room.
To the rear of the cottage is a walled, southwest-facing courtyard with quality garden furniture, the perfect spot for morning coffee or winding down in the evenings as the sun sets.
The cottage is conveniently located just a few minutes’ walk from Tetbury’s main thoroughfare. Tetbury is home to the largest collection of antique shops in the UK along with many excellent places to eat, as well as a fantastic delicatessen where you can stock up on local Cotswolds produce.

Nicely refurbished little 3 roomed cottage....good for short stays for an adventurous couple who don't mind the 2 storey open winding staircase and bathroom opening into the bedroom with no door - g floor kitchen is great but chilly in cold weather

Booking was easy and straightforward. The owners of this beautiful cottage have put in a tremendous effort to make sure guests feel well and truly at home. They’ve thought of everything-personal touches too- fresh flowers, eggs from their own chickens and homemade apple juice. We stayed at Easter and there were lovely chocolate treats too! Set right in the centre of Tetbury, this cottage is an ideal base for not only the many walks in the area, but for exploring the beautiful Cotswolds! We would definitely recommend Squirrel Cottage.
